About the Origin of Southern Comfort Gaited Horse Drill Team
Southern Comfort was started in 2002 by a group of folks who thought they wanted to learn drill. At the time they were only friendly trail riders and little did they know the work that would be involved. Fortunately for them, some of the gals had ridden in other drill teams so had a little knowledge to help them get started. They welcome all breeds of gaited horses and are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who have gaited horses to join the team!

Southern Comfort Gaited Horse Drill Team is proud to present Lite-Shod "Naturally gaited" horses that are genetically fitted with a four beat "glide ride".
The group has performed at shows, exhibitions and competitions
throughout the valley...including Horse Expo, Pioneer Days Celebration, Snake River Stampede Parade, Canyon County Competition, Homedale Parade and Competition, Star Mule Days Parade and Competition, State Drill Team Competition, and the Meridian Lions Rodeo.
